Meet business experts & attend FREE business clinic at Innovation 50 Showcase

Innovation 50, a project to develop a business success roadmap, will be launched at a business showcase on 4 May. Innovative small to medium sized enterprises (SME’s) are invited to attend the free event to hear how Innovation 50 will work with successful and expanding businesses in the county. The evening showcase event will be held at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU).

The English Cream Tea CompanyInnovation 50 is a joint initiative between Essex County Council’s Essex Innovation Programme (EIP) and ARU to support business growth in Essex. During the showcase event, companies will have the chance to hear from successful businesses supported by EIP, meet experts from various areas of business and visit a business clinic. Attendees will be able to meet the EIP team, EIP mentors, university staff and patent solicitors IP21. Companies will also be able to apply to join Innovation 50 on the night.

Free advice from experts and networking opportunities

The event includes a pop up business clinic where free advice will be available from experts in:

  • Marketing and PR
  • Funding and finance
  • Design
  • Business strategy  
  • IP

Attendees will be invited to ask an expert their business queries on the night or questions/issues can be emailed in advance.
